Mind you, as John McCain's Stirling Example shows, committing adultery with multiple women when you have a wife in the hospital is OK, as long as you then divorce her and marry the woman out of the bunch with the biggest bank balance.

IOW, based on McCain's example, the mistake that Edwards make is that he went back to his wife and family.
