Tremayne at Open Left describes the phenomenon where like minded folks tend to gravitate together, the "birds of a feather" syndrome, to explain why certain blogs whose community have gravitated towards one candidate or another -- and sound ridiculous to people not in their tribe.

I just wish the word didn't sound so dirty.
