While I no longer consider myself a liberal by any means - much less an Edwards supporter - I can no longer credibly call myself a friend to the Republican party.<BR/><BR/>At this point I think I can state without reservation that George W. Bush has been an unmitigated disaster for our country and the world. <BR/><BR/>The latest last straw.... our local newspaper here publishes a weekly list of people that have been arrested and charged with various crimes. I was amazed and appalled to see that about 50% people on this list are being charged with nothing other than "making terroristic threats".<BR/><BR/>What the hell is a "terroristic threat"? Flipping off a DEA helicopter? Telling a uniformed officer to go hell? Cursing out George Bush?<BR/><BR/>Is this why we passed the Patriot act?
